Before you all start, I know. I know tight end fantasy production in Week 1 was not good. It was undeniably the opposite of good. Only five TEs managed to hit double-digit PPR points. That’s a terrible start to the season. But the good news is most TEs sucked in the season’s opening week, be they “elite” or speculative roster additions. Things can, and will, only get better. Trust me on this.
The past is the past, as Michael Strahan once said. So now we are done looking back. Let’s look ahead to Week 2. The three players I will talk about can help you should you need a bit of a boost at the TE spot this week. I’m looking at you, David Njoku and Jake Ferguson managers. They are all available in over 50% of ESPN leagues, per my usual MO. Two of the players have barely touched their ultimate ceiling, while one of them . . . well, one of them has a strong “one more job” air to them. But without further ado, let’s get into it.
