Could These 3 Late-Round Rookie Running Backs be Leading Their Backfields by the End of 2024?

The running back position is as volatile as ever, and seemingly every year we see players at the position come out of nowhere to earn meaningful roles at all points of the season. What is perhaps flying under the radar is that all four teams in the AFC West have questions relating to the amount of depth, talent, or both in their RB depth charts. With the prospect of injury or inefficiency always looming for players ahead of them, rookie RBs are always an intriguing option in the late rounds of drafts, or as deep bench stashes that can be easily pulled off the waiver wire.

As they sport a wide range of outcomes, one of these players can help lead a team to victory, and can make a fantasy manager feel like the sharpest player in the league in any given week. If we can find one of these players who can contribute weekly production for our squads during the fantasy playoffs, it can feel like we won the fantasy football lottery. In a division that has a significant amount of uncertainty at the RB position, are there any rookies that may force their way to the top of their team’s depth chart and help fantasy managers bring home titles in 2024?

Justin Herbert and the Chargers’ Passing Game are Coming on at Exactly the Right Time

Much of the offseason narrative surrounding the Chargers’ hiring of Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman centered on how they were going to drastically reduce the passing volume in the team’s offense. During Brandon Staley’s three-year tenure in Los Angeles, the Chargers’ average of 43 passes per 60 minutes was the second-highest in the NFL, while their average of 68 total plays was tied for third.

Week 11 WR Advanced Stats: Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp Haven’t Skipped a Beat Since Returning From Injury

In a year that has been plagued by an unusually high amount of wide receiver injuries, the Rams are perhaps the team that has been hit the hardest. How Should We Be Prioritizing the 49ers’ Receivers for the Rest of the Season?

The injury storylines that we have seen come out of San Francisco this season have been some of the wildest in recent memory. From their rookie first-round wide receiver suffering a gun shot wound in an attempted robbery, all the way to their all-world running back’s preseason calf strain turning into dual Achilles tendonitis that culminated in a trip to Germany for treatment, the 49ers’
