Malik Nabers Isn’t the First Wide Receiver Selected in 2024 Rookie Drafts, But Could He Be the Dynasty WR1 Come 2025?

In most years Malik Nabers would have been the clear-cut WR1 in rookie drafts, while also being in contention for the overall 1.01. But 2024 is definitely not most years. Sporting the deepest quarterback class in recent memory, in addition to a wide receiver group that rivals the fabled class of 2014, the value that can be had in the first round of Superflex rookie drafts is most likely the best we will see for the next few years. Marvin Harrison Jr. has almost universally been lauded as the top WR in the class since last year, but if Nabers had the same amount of name cache the story may have played out a little differently.

This is by no means a dig at Harrison – his success is absolutely not the result of nepotism – but Nabers is not the type of WR that should be standing in anyone’s shadow. Nabers’ success is less a matter of “if” or even “when,” and more a matter of “how high can he go?” and “how fast will he get there?” Success is never guaranteed for any player, but Nabers’ biggest obstacle to start his career is the lackluster supporting cast surrounding him in the Giants’ offense – specifically Daniel Jones. Still, we only have to look to Garrett Wilson’s rookie season to see a superstar receiver rise up the fantasy ranks in spite of a terrible situation, and Nabers’ stock could follow a similar trajectory in 2024. With the possibility that the rising tide of Nabers’ immense talent raises all the boats in the Giants’ offense, what should fantasy managers be willing to do to get him on rosters for 2024 and beyond?

Week 13 Monday Review: Kyren Williams and Bucky Irving Continue to Represent For the NFL’s Lineage of Short Kings at RB

The prototypical size for an NFL running back has generally been considered to be upwards of 6 feet tall and well past 200 pounds. When RBs fall short of these (somewhat arbitrary) thresholds, it can raise questions about their ability to handle the wear and tear of leading an NFL backfield. Still, RBs like Barry Sanders and Walter Payton were able to become two the…...

As Weird as it May Sound, Jonnu Smith Might Actually Be the Top Receiver in Miami This Season

While Mike McDaniel’s offense has received plenty of praise during his time as the Dolphins’ head coach, his use of the tight ends has not generally been one of the highlights. Over the past two seasons, Mike Gesicki posted the highest fantasy finish of any of the team’s TEs as the PPR TE23 in 2022. To be fair, it is hard to put up meaningful

Week 12 WR Advanced Stats: Courtland Sutton (and His QB) Have Rounded Into Form Over the Course of the 2024 Season

In many instances, fantasy football championships are not decided by the players who start hot out of the gate, but by those who finish the season strong. This week’s article is full of wide receivers who may not have had the best start to the season, but will (hopefully) find themselves in position to be difference makers coming down the home stretch. Before we get…...
