Each week in this space, I review my DraftKings lineup that I enter into a small-field contest to see what we can learn from the process that went into building that lineup. You can be right about key decision points on the slate and still lose because you did not have the correct roster construction that week or you faded one critical play. That makes taking advantage of the small edges all the more important. But it also helps us become better DFS players in the long run. The more slates you play, the more lessons you will learn.

This week I played my lineup in single-entry contests varying from 21 to 65 entries.
