Justin Herrera uses the RotoViz tools to bring you the top plays and some under-the-radar options for the FanDuel main slate.
This weekly article is a deep dive into some guys with exploitable matchups, something to prove, or who are just great deals on FanDuel. The goal is always to help you win money on a week-to-week basis. Barring that, at least you can have some fun playing DFS, in which case this article can help you get started on the road to profitability. Each week I’ll use the RotoViz tools to suggest top plays and sleeper picks for each position on FanDuel.
Quarterbacks
MUST-HAVE: JALEN HURTS – $9,300
Jalen Hurts is the most expensive QB on FanDuel this week and he’s adequately priced. Hurts has been a stud this year as both a rusher and a passer. He’s got 16 TDs (total) and 2,095 total scrimmage yards. In their last meeting Hurts and Sam Howell lit it up. Hurts played extremely well throwing for 319 yards and two touchdowns, while not committing a turnover. The RotoViz Game Splits App shows us that since A.J. Brown has arrived in Philly, Hurts has averaged seven more fantasy PPG. This effectively makes him the must-have QB on FanDuel this week.
SLEEPER: C.J. STROUD – $7,400
C.J. Stroud made his first NFL mistake in Week 6. After a bye he will get back to business against the Carolina Panthers. It’s been Stroud’s lack of turnovers that have made him a beast in fantasy this year. But Stroud will get Tank Dell back this week and will look to take advantage of the winless Panthers. Carolina has given up 16.2 fantasy PPG on average to QBs this year. Stroud has also thrown two TDs in four of six games, showing why he should’ve been the first overall pick.
