This week we have six teams on bye, giving us a 10-game slate and making things much tighter. We do not have a plethora of values at the running back position in the $6K range like we have had in previous weeks either. This is going to be a challenging slate with tough decisions to make at nearly every position. These slates are fun because if the chalk is not as strong, it allows us to get creative.
Some important injury news to note: Justin Fields is out, leaving undrafted free agent Tyson Bagent ($4900) as the starter in Chicago. Jimmy Garoppolo is also out, leaving Brian Hoyer ($4900) as the starter for the Raiders. Deshaun Watson is also questionable for Sunday’s game against the Colts.
With scoring at historically low levels this season across the league, Vegas is expecting this slate to be no different. No totals are over 50 points this week, and only one is over 45. Most of the chalk from a game stacking perspective should gravitate toward the Chargers and the Chiefs.
We will go position by position to try and figure out where we can get unique on this slate to put ourselves in a position to win small and large field tournaments on DraftKings this week. I mostly play in small-field tournaments because you only need to get a couple things right to have a real chance of winning.
