Daily Fantasy is a humbling game. You know the best plays and you think you know how to attack them in certain contest sizes. However, as the weekend goes along, you find that plays you thought would be overused might not be all that popular. So you pivot your team toward what you perceive as a contrarian build, instead of evaluating why those are unpopular and whether they might not be as good as you think.
Evaluating those plays after the fact is too late to make a difference, but not too late to learn for next week. With that in mind, I’ll review my process for the week — where I went right, where I went wrong, and what we can learn from it.
