Justin Herrera uses the RotoViz tools to bring you the top plays and some under-the-radar options for the FanDuel main slate.
This weekly article is a deep dive into some guys with exploitable matchups, something to prove, or who are just great deals on FanDuel. The goal is always to help you win money on a week-to-week basis. Barring that, at least you can have some fun playing DFS, in which case this article can help you get started on the road to profitability. Each week I’ll use the RotoViz tools to suggest top plays and sleeper picks for each position on FanDuel.
Quarterbacks
MUST-HAVE: TREVOR LAWRENCE – $7,800
Trevor Lawrence brought it all together last week, throwing for 241 yards and two touchdowns. This week the Chiefs come into Jacksonville for an inevitable shootout. My mindset with this game is to go after the cheaper quarterback. The NFL Stat Explorer shows us the last five QBs vs. the Chiefs’ defense. All I can say is outside of maybe Russell Wilson, none of these QBs have Lawrence’s talent. In last year’s playoff game, he didn’t show out but that may have been more the moment than the actual defense. This game should be the game of the week, and Lawrence is the guy I want in my FanDuel lineup.

SLEEPER: JORDAN LOVE – $7,200
Jordan Love is someone I got right last week as a sleeper and I’m going to “double down” and “let it ride” against the Falcons. Love tore up the Bears to the tune of 245 passing yards and three touchdowns. The Falcons didn’t really get challenged last week against the Panthers. This week head coach Matt LaFleur and Love will show us how good this defense is in Atlanta.
