Daily Fantasy is a tough game. Each week we think about our lineup and which plays are the best plays. We sift through injury news, find the best values, and build a lineup we love. Sometimes we love it for the entire day Sunday, and sometimes by 2 p.m. Eastern time, we are filled with regret. Unfortunately, most of the time in the end it does not end up being enough. We win more than we lose, which can be frustrating. More and more content is available each year, and projections on ownership and player scoring continue to get better and better. The edges seem to get smaller and smaller.
This makes the puzzle a blast to think through each week. One of the remaining edges in DFS is to review the process that went into building the lineup or lineups you built the week prior before diving into the next slate. We need to know which mistakes we made so we do not make them again.
Each week in this space I will review the team that I built on DraftKings for the small-field contest I entered that week and see what we can learn to become better DFS players.
