The Jaguars Offer Some Discount Plays in a High-Scoring Environment: 5 Divisional Round DFS Picks for FanDuel

This weekly article is a deep dive into some guys with exploitable matchups, something to prove, or are just great deals on FanDuel. The goal is always to help you win some money on a week-to-week basis. Barring that, at least you can have some fun playing DFS, in which case this article can help you get started on the road to profitability. Using RotoViz’s excellent tools, I’ll go position by position and offer both a top play and a sleeper pick for FanDuel based on divisional round matchups.

Quarterback

TREVOR LAWRENCE – $7,600

Trevor Lawrence makes his way to Arrowhead Stadium for the second time this year to play Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Coming off an unbelievable victory over the Chargers, Lawrence will be looking to continue his conquest of the AFC West on Saturday. In their first meeting, Lawrence had a very productive game, throwing for 259 yards and two touchdowns. The atmosphere in KC is going to be absolutely bananas and it’ll probably be hard to be played into the huddle, but if there’s anyone who understands that, it is Doug Pederson who coached Andy Reid’s offense for three years in KC.

The table gives us data on the last five games the Chiefs played and how QBs did against them. As you can see they averaged 22.06 fantasy points, while we all know the playoffs are different it is hard to ignore the glaring weakness that the Chiefs have shown. One underlining aspect of Lawrence’s games that has been a game changer has been his mobility, now pair that with the Chiefs who have allowed the fifth most rushing yards (444) and sixth most TDs (4) to running QBs. This game has the makings of a good game and Lawrence can be highly productive in victory or defeat. Play him on FanDuel this week if you are looking for some upside value.
