Forever and Everett: The Tight End Report Week 2

Football happened. Week 1 is in the books. Half of the fantasy football-playing population hates their teams and their choices leading up to the start of the games. The other half are positively cockahoop and feel untouchable. But the race is long and is by no means already run.

Tight end was, as usual, a sight to behold in fantasy terms. We saw Travis Kelce remind the world that he is still the top dog in KC. Taysom Hill continues to baffle and tease fantasy managers as we cannot adequately explain his usage. O.J. Howard returned from the wilderness to post a stat line that saw him finish as the overall TE2 despite seeing just two targets. In an uncertain world, it’s nice to rely on the inevitable uncertainty of fantasy sports’ most toxic spot.

Below you will see all the key production stats from the TE spot for this past week. Also, because we’re just that kind of generous around these parts, we shall offer three viable options to plug in and play this week if you find yourself in need of help. I’m looking at you, George Kittle managers. These players are available in over 50% of ESPN leagues. So there’s a good chance you can secure them if you move quickly enough.

Let’s get into it.

Neil Dutton

Lead Writer, soft spot for the tight end position. Will never stop loving Duke Johnson.

Will-ing It Into Existence: Week 12 Tight End Streamers

It may not have reached everyone, but it is official. It is time we truly acknowledge that Brock Bowers is a name that I, in the context of this column, will almost certainly never get to write about in future seasons. Bowers is on course to shatter the record for rookie tight end receptions — currently 86 — and threaten the single-season record of 116…....

Guardian of the Will (Dissly): Week 11 Tight End Streamers

Week 10 did not exactly overflow with offensive output. The great Rich Hribar shows here how inept offenses were generally in the week that was. This had an impact on fantasy output, especially regarding tight ends. There were only eight touchdowns scored by TEs in Week 10, which is not a lot, I’m sure you’ll agree. Only 10 players managed double-digit PPR points; one is…...

Take to The Hill! Week 10 Tight End Streamers

I regret to inform you that we have reached the part of the fantasy season I dislike most. I’m not talking about bye weeks, early kickoffs, or games on multiple days. They all happen, and I have made my peace with these events. No, I am talking about the time in the season when I am finally forced to acknowledge that one of the best…...
