Lamar Jackson was the MVP in the 2019 season. He turned out to be one of the best values in fantasy drafts and an absolute league winner. In the 2020 season, he was drafted as the QB1 and generally disappointed after getting COVID-19 at a key time during the fantasy regular season. He finished as the QB10 in both total points and points per game. In 2021, Jackson went as the QB4 in drafts at an ADP of No. 40 overall.
Jackson missed five games and finished as the QB16. On a per-game basis, he was only slightly better, finishing as the QB9. However, in Week 14, Jackson was injured against the Cleveland Browns and put up only 1.18 fantasy points. If we remove that game, his average PPG shoots up to 21.7 fantasy points, making him the QB4 in PPG.
