Week 1 was a spectacular return to football with virtuoso performances all across the league. It was a feverish day with the remote as I watched most games in their entirety yesterday afternoon, catching up with a few extra on Shortcuts in the middle of the night. As I pen this, I’ve watched everything except for the second half of WFT/Chargers and the high-profile Saints/Packers blowout.
In the Monday column, I’ll reflect on elements from the games that might not be immediately obvious from the box score: coaching decisions that could impact the fantasy landscape, big plays that were called back, sequences that could be important and won’t be immediately obvious unless you’ve watched the game or scrolled through the entire play-by-play.
