Today, I want to touch on a relatively unspoken topic in the fantasy community: the impact of the NFL playoffs. Fantasy analysts use data from the entire regular season or sometimes Weeks 1-16 for the sake of fantasy playoffs. We rarely use NFL playoff production in conversation or analysis from the previous season. It’s interesting because those are arguably the most important games of the season for playoff-bound teams. It’s win or go home, and teams will deploy their playmakers in a way they believe gives them the best chance to win.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at two running backs with similar ADP. One produced a solid regular season while the other set the playoffs on fire with an impressive run of production.
