The NFL Draft is firmly behind us, and the vast expanse of rookie and dynasty startup drafts lies ahead. To be sure, it’s an exciting time. The offseason period between the Super Bowl and the NFL Draft is quite the journey, but now we have landing spots for each of the incoming rookies, and prospective depth charts are starting to take shape.
If you did your rookie draft and/or dynasty startup draft before the NFL Draft, the draft weekend was likely an adventure of its own. However, if you are now getting into your rookie drafts or are itching to get into another startup, let’s take a look at a few shifts in ADP. These shifts have created a perfect window of value and opportunity for savvy managers to capitalize on.

Travis Etienne (ADP – RB16 / 4th Round)
One of the more significant Day 1 draft surprises came when the Jacksonville Jaguars selected running back Travis Etienne from Clemson with the 25th overall pick. Heading to a team with other needs and an excellent running back already on the roster in undrafted free agent James Robinson, Etienne reunited with his former college quarterback in Trevor Lawrence. Etienne had a massively productive college career and could have declared after the 2019 season. However, he chose to return to school and had a relatively disappointing season from a box score perspective, although he did reel in nearly 50 receptions.
