Earlier today it was announced that former Titans wide receiver Corey Davis will be continuing his career in New York with the Jets. The former first-round pick signed a three-year, $37.5 million deal ($27 million guaranteed) and now looks to be a part of the new system ushered in under first year head coach Robert Saleh.
As a member of the Titans, Davis never quite produced at the level we expect from a player who is drafted fifth overall. Playing on a contract year in 2020, Davis posted career highs in receptions (65), yards (984), and touchdowns (5). His 13.8 PPR/gm (WR31) was also a career high, which was aided by his 41.8 fantasy points over expectation (WR13).
When it comes to efficiency, Davis enjoyed a season unlike he had ever seen before. His WR13 finish in FPOE bested his previous FPOE mark set in 2019 (WR83).
Now that we know Davis will be heading to the Jets in 2021, what can we expect from him in the upcoming season?
