2 WRs Make a Final Push for the Top Spot in Dynasty: Can They Overcome Justin Jefferson for No. 1?

Justin Jefferson set the all-time receiving yardage record for a rookie with 1,400 and scored 63.7 fantasy points over expectation. Is that enough to climb to the top of the wide receiver rankings in dynasty?

2020 was the year of the receiver. Healthy veterans flourished. Davante Adams earned the highest per-game score for a WR. Tyreek Hill averaged just a shade under 22 PPG. Stefon Diggs vaulted into the conversation as dynasty’s No. 1 overall, and DeAndre Hopkins returned to the form that made him the overall WR1 in 2017 and 2018. This was the second big season in the last three for a WR1 tier that averaged a whopping 19.7 PPG in 2018.

The veterans will have to hold off a flotilla of rookies as CeeDee Lamb, Tee Higgins, Brandon Aiyuk, and Chase Claypool are just some of the emerging stars ready to do long-term battle with Jefferson.

During Wild Card weekend, two more young dynamos burnished their credentials heading into the offseason. With Julio Jones showing signs of a possible health-related slide, either of these young sophomores could be the heir to his throne.
