Ultimate Zero RB Watch List: AFC Week 11 – Josh Jacobs Stars and 2 Sleepers Become Must-Own RBs

The Ultimate Zero RB Watch List provides analysis for Zero RB and RB-heavy owners alike. Blair Andrews looks at the most important takeaway from Josh Jacobs‘ big game. Plus, Blair gives you the two sleeper candidates who’ve morphed into must-own players for Zero RB owners as he examines the running back workloads for every AFC backfield ahead of Week 11.

Almost every fantasy team can use a breakout RB, whether they were drafted as a Zero-RB squad or not. The Ultimate Zero RB Watch List helps to find these breakout stars before they hit. But it also helps you understand which of the high-profile backs you should be buying and selling based on workload shifts.

We’ll use the RotoViz tools to dive deep into the Week 10 advanced stats for every AFC backfield, focusing on expected points (EP), fantasy points over expectations (FPOE), and opportunity (snaps, targets, and carries).

Baltimore Ravens

Even with Mark Ingram back in the lineup, J.K. Dobbins still led all Baltimore RBs in snaps. However, Gus Edwards was the leader in opportunities and expected points. Very little was going right for Baltimore’s offense on Sunday night, but I’m taking this as a positive sign for Dobbins’ rest-of-season outlook. I’m not biased at all.

Cincinnati Bengals

Nothing much notable happened in the Cincinnati backfield with Joe Mixon still sidelined, except that Trayveon Williams saw action. Williams played on five snaps and got a carry on all five of them, gaining 22 yards. Williams came out of Texas A&M with over 2,000 scrimmage yards and a 0.84 Backfield Dominator Rating in his final (junior) season. He’s not someone to add just yet, but keep an eye on him.

Cleveland Browns

In Nick Chubb’s return to the field in Week 10, he was the leading scorer in the Browns’ backfield. But it was Kareem Hunt who led in total EP, nearly equaling Chubb’s rushing workload and garnering four targets to Chubb’s one. Hunt was slightly disappointing in Chubb’s absence, but he’s always been better when Chubb plays.

Houston Texans
