Welcome back to Strength in Numbers, a weekly article in which we go over the most actionable takeaways from every NFL weekend in a concise, numbers-heavy format. Week 8 had a lot of fun games, most notably the Steelers vs. Ravens battle atop the AFC North. We also saw Tua Tagovailoa‘s first start, Justin Herbert‘s continued excellence (and then the Chargers staying on-brand and choking it away), and Joe Burrow upsetting the Titans. And it wasn’t just the QB position that had notable rookie performances – J.K. Dobbins saw a bigger role in Mark Ingram‘s absence and Zack Moss found the end zone twice – but we’ll get to both of them in just a minute.
