QB rankings and streaming advice for Week 7 of the 2020 fantasy football season.
We made it through Week 6 with no postponed games! And despite my hesitations, there were several bounceback performances this week – Matt Ryan, Carson Wentz, Philip Rivers and Kirk Cousins all have spots in the Week 6 fantasy quarterback top 10. Other notable mentions include:
- Despite the criticism the Titans have received in the last couple weeks due to their COVID outbreak, Ryan Tannehill and the Titans put up 600 total yards against the Texans. Tannehill contributed 364 passing, four touchdowns and an interception in an overtime win. He has now started in 15 regular-season games for the Titans, with a total of 3,966 passing yards, 35 passing TDs, 7 INTs, 258 rushing yards and five rushing TDs. The Steelers and Titans — both 5-0 teams — will face off this week.
- Aaron Rodgers fell victim to the Buccaneers’ defense with two interceptions — one a pick-six — and just 160 passing yards on the day.
- Tua Tagovailoa finally got his day under center as a Miami Dolphin — albeit with 2:27 left in the fourth quarter — as he was tasked with merely running out the clock to notch a 24-0 Dolphins win against the Jets. Apparently, that 2:27 was enough for the Dolphins’ coaching staff. After this week’s bye, Tagovailoa will officially get his first NFL start.
My picks should have supported bye weeks and injuries — that is, outside of Andy Dalton who literally dropped the ball. The Red Rocket did have 266 passing yards and a touchdown, but his two interceptions grossly diminished his fantasy production. Gardner Minshew had his own pair of turnovers but was still able to make the week’s top 12, and Ryan Fitzpatrick had three passing touchdowns in a Jets shutout, though it may be the last time Fitzmagic blesses fantasy owners.

After some rescheduling, the Colts, Ravens, Vikings, Dolphins all have the week off.
