This season, Zachary Krueger will use the RotoViz Screener Tool to evaluate player red-zone opportunity. Understanding how teams deploy their red-zone personnel, and who they give red-zone opportunities to, can offer a valuable edge over your opponents. This weekly Red Zone Report aims to give you that exact edge.
Last week I took a look at red zone performances through the first quarter of the season. This week, we are back for a look at how players performed in the red zone in Week 5.

Darrell Henderson
One of the curses of chasing after the Rams’ backfield was having to navigate a running back by committee. The Rams selected running back Cam Akers in the second round of this year’s draft, but have leaned heavily on second-year back Darrell Henderson thus far.
In addition to working around Akers and Henderson, Malcolm Brown had yet another Week 1 outburst and was a hot waiver wire target heading into Week 2.
Through the first five games, Akers has appeared in only three matchups due to a rib injury. During Akers’ absence in Weeks 3 and 4, Henderson emerged to handle 51% of the team’s rushing attempts. Prior to Week 5, Henderson was averaging 11.1 PPR/gm with two top-12 finishes.
