John
A glorious Week 2 in the books, Dev.
Devin
Some storylines starting to take shape. Is the writing on the wall in New Orleans?

John
Drew Brees looking every year of his 41-year-old self last week in an upset loss to the Raiders. Not a great showing without Michael Thomas in the lineup.
Devin
Yeah, you might say Brees has been running on MT.
John
He might be the third-best quarterback on the team right now.
Devin
C’mon now, of all the Hills to die on.
did you know gronk played lb in high school? he was extremely good.

Devin
Very good octopus joke, John. Lots of octopus talk. Scott Hanson was in on it too.
John
That’s right, on the Red Zone channel. He pointed out that both Noah Fant and Dalvin Cook both had an “octopus” this week — scoring a touchdown and the two-point conversion for an eight-point play.
Devin
Eight legs, sounds like one of your parlays.
John
Hey, I’m a punter. I’m about that action.
Devin
It was a good week for a couple of RotoViz favorites. Keenan Allen had 10 targets for 96 yards with the rookie Justin Herbert getting his first start. And another one of the league’s premier route-runners, Amari Cooper, had an even 100 yards receiving.
John
You know when Marvin Jones graduated from Cal, there was an opening there at the wide receiver position alongside Keenan Allen. Of course, Cooper chose to go to Alabama that year, but could you imagine if he and Keenan had paired up against college secondaries?
Devin
Wow, that would’ve been incredible. Now all I’m thinking about is Cal Amari.
John
Terrible. Truly terrible.

John
Speaking of struggling teams, what is happening in New York? Does Adam Gase make it to the bye week?
Devin
Gase says it’s time to put the offense in “hyperdrive.” He’s definitely living inside a science fiction novel in which he is the protagonist. He constantly blames his players, and yet when they are free of him, we keep seeing those guys thrive on other teams.
Adam Gase plans to exploit time dilation to roster both Frank Gore and Frank Gore Jr in the perfect offense. https://t.co/uZgHYayK2f

John
I don’t have time to explain this one. If you don’t get this, just look up the twin paradox, folks.
Devin
Time is relative, John. But let’s move on to:
The McIntyre Report
Devin
Welcome back to the McIntyre Report. In this segment, we’ll talk some trades, and take a look at some players whose value might be changing. If you have trade questions, send ‘em in! Hit us up on twitter @devinmci and @solisreport.
This wouldn’t be the McIntyre Report if our first undervalued player wasn’t Jerick McKinnon.
