Christian McCaffrey would beg to differ, but the point remains that many fantasy players err on the side of caution early in drafts and then target high-upside options in the middle and late rounds. Those undervalued breakout players are often the ones who move the needle for a championship team; Devonta Freeman is the best example, as he finished as the overall RB1 from a Round 8 ADP in 2015.
