2020 is the year of the running back. Earlier this year, Jack Miller demonstrated that RBs are going earlier than ever. In some cases, far earlier. This has created the perfect storm for Zero RB dominance, but it’s also provided an opening for savvy RB-RB drafters. Here’s my four-step plan for using early RBs to decimate your league.
The RB Landscape
The latest early-round ADP according to the FFPC Redraft Dashboard illustrates just how RB-crazy owners are in 2020.
- Seven of the first eight picks are RBs and nine are going in Round 1.
- Fourteen RBs are going in the first 20 picks.
- Round 3 features a WR run, but RBs get back on the board in Rounds 4 and 5, especially the back half of the fifth round. This gives us 29 RBs in the first 60 picks.
How can we draft RBs early and still benefit from these developments? Follow this four-step plan.
