Shawn Siegele breaks down the 10 most undervalued redraft options and provides the top breakouts, bouncebacks, and Zero RB candidates for 2020.
Writing the 10 Most Undervalued Players in Dynasty Startups was a blast. When I’m reading my favorite writers, I want to know which guys they’re targeting. It’s why Curtis Patrick’s Must-Draft RBs was so much fun. It’s why Matt Wispe’s 8 Late-Round Picks to Dominate Best Ball should be on your reading list. It’s why I couldn’t wait for Jack Miller’s 15 WRs to Target.
It’s also why I covered every pick from all 20 rounds of the MFL10 of Death. Who are the top experts in the world drafting?
Today we dive into the most undervalued players in redraft. As we did for the dynasty options, our preferred redraft targets must hit a variety of rankings criteria:
- Must be undervalued overall. This is a more difficult standard for RBs, due to the nature of RB value relative to ADP. It’s also an extra challenge for TEs since I’ve stacked the deck against them. FFPC scoring is TE Premium, but I’m using our regular redraft rankings. In the end, this will be a plus. We can be sure the RBs and TEs selected are huge values.
- Must be undervalued within their position. It’s not enough for WRs to look good compared to overall ADP. They must also be a strong value within their position group.
- Must receive the approval of all rankers.
- Must be a personal target of mine in drafts.
We always have up-to-date ADP through the FFPC Redraft Dashboard. For this exercise I choose drafts occurring between May 18th and today. Our 10 most undervalued players come from across the entire ADP landscape.
