In Dynasty Trade Targets 2020 – Superflex QB Edition, Curtis Patrick states his case for three quarterbacks he’s buying right now. Are they good fits for your team? Read on and find out.
Superflex has finally taken its place as the preferred format for new dynasty startups in the community. In 2020, over 40% of dynasty startup leagues on FPPC have been Superflex, and over 69% have been Superflex over at MyFantasyLeague.com. In combination (using raw draft numbers), there have been more Superflex startups than single QB startups on these two platforms in 2020. Shawn Siegele and I recently published our dynasty Superflex rankings and soon other RotoViz analysts will do the same. Our job is to provide analysis, recommendations, and winning strategies for the formats you’re playing, and that means Superflex is taking a more central position in our content lineup. I’m so pleased this is where we are today, because I’ve been in love with the format for years and have been waiting for the moment that the community collectively jumped on board.
It would be great if you could own Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson on every Superflex roster. Maybe you do. But for those who don’t like to be top-heavy at quarterback in this format, or those who play in leagues where elite players don’t change hands much in trades, the nets must be cast wider.
So far in 2020, I’ve published three dynasty trade target pieces on wide receivers and one on running backs:
- Dynasty Trade Targets 2020 – Wide Receiver Edition
- Dynasty Trade Targets 2020 – Wide Receiver Edition 2.0
- Dynasty Trade Targets 2020 – Last Year’s Rookie 1.01
- Dynasty Trade Targets 2020 – Running Back Edition
You can check out the recommendations in those pieces if you’re looking to bolster your non-QB roster spots in Superflex leagues.
Two of the quarterback trade targets I’m reviewing today were also listed as startup draft targets in my recent piece, Superflex Dynasty Startup Draft Cheat Sheet: How To Smash The First 5 Rounds. You can use the downloadable cheat sheet in that piece to dream up fair market value trade ideas by offering non-priority players for priority players with similar ADPs.
