Welcome to summer! Well, not officially yet, I suppose, but Memorial Day Weekend is often seen as the unofficial start of summer. With that in mind, I figured I would debut my first redraft-focused piece of the offseason. For all you dynasty players, no worries. There will still be plenty of content coming for you. Besides, focusing on one-year cycles (like redraft) is a useful exercise in its own right.

Looking back at least season, several rookie wide receivers performed exceptionally well given their different situations. My goal is to determine which of the three highest-ranked rookie wideouts from last season, based on current ADP, is poised to have the best 2020 season.

Let’s take a closer look. 

A.J. Brown – ADP WR15

2019 Finish (PPR) – WR21

A.J. Brown had one of the most impressive, efficient rookie seasons in some time. His propensity for big plays and massive YAC numbers, especially late in the season, allowed him to finish with over 20 yards/reception. His 8.9 YAC/reception led all wide receivers. The Tennessee Titans offense as a whole last season took on new form once Ryan Tannehill took over as quarterback. Look what Tannehill did for Brown’s numbers over the second half of the season.
