The offseason never fails to produce intriguing storylines. Teams release established assets to free up cap space or make room for incoming rookies. High profile players are traded to new teams, and the fantasy community does its best to determine who benefits and who is looking like the odd man out.
One more prominent player who transitioned to a new offense this offseason was Robby Anderson. Formerly of the New York Jets, he signed a two year/$20 million deal with the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers, in their own right, have been busy retooling their franchise over the past few months. After releasing franchise quarterback Cam Newton, they got to work in a big way.
Most notably, in addition to the Anderson signing, they hired a new head coach (Matt Rhule), a new offensive coordinator (Joe Brady), signed quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to a three year/$63 million deal, and spent all seven of their draft picks on defensive players. A lot has changed for the Panthers in the last year.
As we head into 2020, I wanted to dive into two players with similar ADP and see how they match up with one another. How should we value Curtis Samuel and Anderson this year?
