Is Clyde Edwards-Helaire The Rookie 1.01?

Clyde Edwards-Helaire was drafted 32nd overall by the Kansas City Chiefs and was the first running back selected in the 2020 NFL Draft. Originally, Edwards-Helaire graded out as potentially the next Aaron Jones in the RB Prospect Lab, but his updated comps provide even more reasons for optimism.

Dalvin Cook is a very interesting comparable for Edwards-Helaire, given that both players tested quite poorly, but were productive RBs. I’m skeptical that Edwards-Helaire could be either Derrick Henry or Mark Ingram in the NFL, so let’s take a look at his prospect profile before examining his team fit.
