With the draft behind us, depth chart battles take center stage, and one of the most important will take place at the running back position in Denver. In one corner we have the incumbent, Devontae Booker, a player the coaching staff has relentlessly praised to the local media. In the other we find third-round rookie Royce Freeman, a less flashy prospect than his 2018 peers but one who enters the NFL with a boatload of production.
