It may not have reached everyone, but it is official. It is time we truly acknowledge that Brock Bowers is a name that I, in the context of this column, will almost certainly never get to write about in future seasons. Bowers is on course to shatter the record for rookie tight end receptions — currently 86 — and threaten the single-season record of 116. He is the Raiders offense, which is wonderful to see. Unless you are a Raiders fan, but even then.

Here are three players you can scoop up off the waiver wire and plug into your lineups for the Week 12 games. There is also a bonus player, who despite the intriguing talent, is very much a “Break Glass in Cases of Emergency” option this week. I hope you don’t need to lean on him.
Will Dissly (Available in 86.1% of ESPN Leagues) vs. Baltimore Ravens
Will Dissly had his best fantasy week of the season in Week 11 and remains the apple of Justin Herbert’s eye in the Chargers’ passing attack. Dissly reeled in four of his six targets for 80 yards and scored his first touchdown as a Charger and the first for anyone since Week 18 of last season. He has seen at least six targets in four of his previous five games, with at least 30 yards in each. His target shares over those five games have been something special.
Herbert has cultivated several efficient partnerships with his receivers in 2024. In terms of efficiency, his linkup with Dissly is only his fourth most productive. But the numbers are not to be sniffed at.
Dissly’s matchup with the Ravens in Week 12 looks like being another decent one for fantasy purposes. The Ravens have allowed 14.4 PPR points per game to TEs over their last five, giving up six receptions for 60 yards per game. A TE has at least 40 yards in four of the Ravens’ last five games, which is a trend we like to see.
