We’re into the home stretch of the regular season. Very soon it will be time to look ahead at the best strings of matchups for the fantasy playoffs, but not quite yet. As we’ve seen over and over, one QB injury can turn a high-octane offense into a priority D/ST target, so the closer we get to Week 15, the more accurate those targets will be. Let’s look instead at finishing out the regular season strong, and getting those borderline fantasy rosters into the playoffs with a final four week push. Which D/STs have the best schedules Weeks 11-14?
Green Bay Packers (Available in 75.2% of Leagues/$3500 on DraftKings)
You can put a bullseye on Caleb Williams and the Bears if you haven’t already. Despite perhaps the cushiest rookie QB situation in history, Williams’ struggles this year have been such that they require little detailing here. The dysfunctional Bears have fired Shane Waldron handing over following a three-point showing against the Patriots, leaving Thomas Brown as interim Offensive Coordinator. You may remember Brown from his recent stint as the Panthers’ OC during their disastrous 2023 season. The Bears’ injury report is riddled with offensive linemen. Williams is averaging over three seconds holding the ball, and has the fewest scrambling yards off any QB who holds the ball that long. The Packers are a nice streaming option this week, although they may be a bit overpriced in daily fantasy.
