Week 7 Monday Review: Amid Many Disappointing Individual and Team Performances, There are Still Plenty of Positive Takeaways from Sunday

Through Sunday’s Week 7 games, 11 of the 26 teams failed to score more than 16 points, with five of those teams unable to surpass 10 points. Just as it looked like we were rounding the corner, the NFL gave us arguably the worst week of the season.

And it wasn’t just teams that disappointed, as many of our favorite players like C.J. Stroud, Tyrone Tracy, Malik Nabers, DeVonta Smith, Jayden Reed, and Xavier Worthy all disappointed with their ineffectiveness. And that’s before we add in all the players that went out with injuries.

Before we let the pessimism of another lackluster week of NFL action take hold, we must remember that there were also some very exciting performances that we can point to this week. For the sake of optimism, that is what we will be focusing on today (that is, at least until we get to the injury portion of the article).

As always, we will be using the Monday Review tool to look at all the Week 7 action as we head into a Monday Night double dip to finish off the week.
