The Best and Worst Picks in Every Round of NFL.com Fantasy Drafts (At The Positions That Matter)

One of the best ways to win our home league drafts is by identifying clear values in ADP. If we are able to consistently grab values across the entirety of our drafts, there is a very good chance our teams will be in the running for a championship at the end of the year.

Earlier in the week, I broke down the best strategy for attacking home leagues on Yahoo. As the PPR scoring and starting lineup settings match those of NFL.com, reading those articles will provide a loose basis for how we should be building our teams on both sites.

Part 1 – The WR Gameplan

Part 2 – Either Zero or Hero, Let’s Get Those RBs

Part 3 – Elite or Late at QB and TE?

The caveat is that NFL.com’s ADP does vary from Yahoo’s in some pretty significant ways. Therefore, it makes for a worthwhile exercise to go through NFL.com’s ADPs and try to point out the best values in each round. We should be operating on a firm rule that we will not be taking a kicker or defense until the final two rounds of our drafts. With this in mind, we will exclude those two positions from this exercise and be looking at the remaining positions in 12-player groups, organized by ADP.

It must also be noted that the varying league size on NFL.com does have a significant effect on ADP, driving up the value of the onesie positions. This is an edge that can be exploited in larger leagues, as our more casual league mates will likely anchor to ADP that may not represent our league. Drafts in standard NFL.com leagues are 16 rounds. We will be taking an in-depth look at how the first 10 rounds (120 players) of  a 12-team league would look like if every team held off on Ks and DST until the final two rounds. From there, we’ll list the remaining priority targets by position so we have plenty of options at each position to fill out rosters.

Week 11 Monday Review: Brock Bowers Makes History, Anthony Richardson Returns, and Taysom Hill’s Obligatory Spike Week of 2024

Some things just feel destined to happen. It’s always felt like Brock Bowers was going to do amazing things in his rookie year despite the lack of talent around him. We knew we would be seeing Anthony Richardson starting for the Colts again, but perhaps not as soon as it actually came to fruition. And it seems like a near certainty that every year Taysom…...

The (Not So) Curious Case of Saquon Barkley’s 2024 Season

In the kickoff to Week 11, Saquon Barkley torched the Commanders’ defense on his way to his fourth 30-plus PPR performance of the 2024 season. For the second time in the past three weeks, Barkley scored two touchdowns and came within two yards of 200 total scrimmage yards in a game. When Barkley signed with the Eagles this offseason, there were plenty of questions about
