This exercise helps provide a bit of a baseline before all of the festivities over the next three days. If you liked the write-ups in the 2024 Rookie Guide, I’m going to build them out the next step today, diving deeper into the SIS stats and adding insight from the Box Score Scout, the Workout Explorer, and the Prospect Labs.
The other reason for this project is to create a document I can use in my live rankings updates during the draft tonight. The 2024 Pre-NFL Draft Rookie Top 50
I’ll begin with the six prospects from the Rookie 1.01 Series yesterday with two separate rankings: overall and trade-value agnostic. We need to understand trade value in working through how we make our moves in startups, rookie drafts, and trades, but the trade-value agnostic rankings allow me to provide my real rankings.
