On a recent episode of Ship Chasing, we ended up joking about both multiple universes and my contention that the battle for rookie 1.01 went six players deep. Pat and Pete suggested that I split myself into six individual Shawns and make the case for each.
This is that series.
And it’s just in time to help you calibrate expectations before the 2024 NFL draft. Assuming all goes to plan, we’ll release all six today, and then tomorrow I’ll have a 7,000-word examination of my Pre-Draft 2024 Top-50 Rookies. Beyond ranking the players, it will dive into each bio with pros and cons on every prospect.
I’ll then update the top-50 list live throughout Thursday’s draft before the Friday’s live Stealing Bananas with Ben Gretch for Day 2.
