Justin Herrera uses the RotoViz tools to bring you the top plays and some under-the-radar options for the FanDuel main slate.
This weekly article is a deep dive into some guys with exploitable matchups, something to prove, or who are just great deals on FanDuel. The goal is always to help you win money on a week-to-week basis. Barring that, at least you can have some fun playing DFS, in which case this article can help you get started on the road to profitability. Each week I’ll use the RotoViz tools to suggest top plays and sleeper picks for each position on FanDuel.
Quarterbacks
MUST-HAVE: SAM HOWELL – $7,500
Sam Howell has been QB4 this season and a lot of that can be attributed to the team being so bad that he has to throw his way out. Howell didn’t throw a TD last week, but he did throw for 300 yards and rushed for a TD. This equated to a top-10 week. This week he gets the Dolphins, who on the surface have looked good against quarterbacks recently. But when we dig below the surface, it’s a different story. When playing a competent QB (Patrick Mahomes or Jalen Hurts), they allowed 23.85 on average. This game has shootout written all over it.

SLEEPER: BRYCE YOUNG – $6,500
Bryce Young will get his first game post-Frank Reich and it should be interesting. While Young hasn’t shown us yet why he was the No. 1 overall pick, this week might be the first week where we say the Panthers made the right decision. The Bucs are coming in allowing 19 fantasy PPG to the QB position. What makes this even more interesting is Jamel Dean, Lavonte David, and Devin White all are sitting out this week. That should give Young’s receivers more room to work. Young is a strong sleeper this week.
