This weekly article is a deep dive into some guys with exploitable matchups, something to prove, or who are just great deals on FanDuel. The goal is always to help you win money on a week-to-week basis. Barring that, at least you can have some fun playing DFS, in which case this article can help you get started on the road to profitability. Each week I’ll use the RotoViz tools to suggest top plays and sleeper picks for each position on FanDuel.

Quarterbacks

MUST-HAVE: LAMAR JACKSON – $8,000

Lamar Jackson has felt like a moderate version of the MVP we saw but a few seasons ago. He’s more active as a thrower while only going over a 100 yards rushing once this year. After a week off, there’s a good chance that Jackson puts in some work against the Rams. The last five QBs have averaged 21.29 fantasy points against this Rams defense and the two most athletic of the QBs (Dak Prescott and Kyler Murray) had big games. While the Rams are looking like a playoff team this year, the Ravens are starting to feel like the AFC favorite.

SLEEPER: JOE FLACCO – $6,400

Joe Flacco looked like an old-school gunslinger last week against the Rams. Considering he was in a game the week that he had his first practice and still did well, kind of impressive. Flacco had two touchdowns and 254 yards last week. He’s the guy that’ll either give you a strong week at a low cost or he’ll absolutely fail. The Jaguars matchup might make it really tempting as they have allowed the third most fantasy PPG to QBs (20). This is also the team that just allowed Jake Browning to go off, the defense is very beat able and I wouldn’t be afraid to play Flacco.
