It’s always sad when one of the top guys goes down in the line. That happened last week at the tight end spot, when Mark Andrews suffered what seems to be a season-ending ankle injury. It’s a massive blow for all of his fantasy managers, not to mention Andrews himself. But the zero-sum game of American football continues on. And it’s my job, within these pages, to provide you with alternatives at fantasy sports most volatile positions. Not just for Andrews managers either, but anyone in need of a boost at the TE spot this week.
Here, I shall offer forth three players who, for one reason or another, are widely available in fantasy leagues. Indeed, all three are out there in more than 50% of ESPN leagues. We’re starting to get into the business end of the season, and we need to maximize every opportunity we can get to score fantasy points. So shall we begin?
