Justin Herrera uses the RotoViz tools to bring you the top plays and some under-the-radar options for the FanDuel main slate.
This weekly article is a deep dive into some guys with exploitable matchups, something to prove, or who are just great deals on FanDuel. The goal is always to help you win money on a week-to-week basis. Barring that, at least you can have some fun playing DFS, in which case this article can help you get started on the road to profitability. Each week I’ll use the RotoViz tools to suggest top plays and sleeper picks for each position on FanDuel.
Quarterbacks
MUST-HAVE: JARED GOFF– $8,000
Jared Goff ‘s performance has soured in his two performances, but fresh off a bye, he’ll look to rebound in a big way against the Chargers. Los Angeles has given up the third most fantasy points to opposing QBs this year (20.1). As usual, the Chargers’ defense can’t stop anyone, and Goff’s Lions need a reset after an OK performance against the Raiders and a butt-kicking from the Ravens. Look out for Goff this week on FanDuel as your must-have QB.
SLEEPER: DEREK CARR – $6,700
Derek Carr has thrown for 300 yards and a TD in three of the last four games, making Raiders fans cry in the process. Carr has been a consistent staple this year in fantasy football, but this week feels like he could be very valuable. Through the last five games the Vikings have given up good games to mid-level QBs, which gives me reason to believe that Carr could have a great game. This game could end up being a sneaky high-scoring game and I think you’ll want a piece of it. Put Carr in as a cost-effective QB this week on FanDuel.
