You fine folks will be able to relax during the 2023 NFL Fantasy season, safe in the knowledge that you have the correct answer at fantasy sport’s most volatile position. Congratulations, people. Enjoy cheering on Travis Kelce, whooping with delight after Mark Andrews, and or having a hunk of fun with T.J. Hockenson.

But what if you didn’t land one of these studs? Are you doomed to fantasy irrelevance for the whole season? Must you endure massive Ls every week? No, my friends. You are not. I am here to help you. Every week this season I will provide you with names of players that you can scoop off the waiver wires of your leagues, to plug into your TE spot. Gerald Everett (available in 55.7% of ESPN Leagues) vs. Miami Dolphins.

I have been writing about Gerald Everett on RotoViz since 2017 when I picked him out as a gem from a talented TE class that included players like George Kittle and David Njoku. It’s safe to say that he never developed into a superstar. But he has given us some decent fantasy production over the years. This was the case in 2022. Everett finished as the TE13 in fantasy points per game. But he did have seven weeks inside TE1 airspace.
