This is the FanDuel DFS review for my Week 2 predictions. Daily Fantasy is fun because there are some weeks you win and some weeks you look like a clown. In this article, I will examine and criticize my picks for Week 2. As always, we had some hits, and some picks where variance went against us.
Trevor Lawrence Fizzles Out
My “must have” at the QB position for Week 2 was Trevor Lawrence. My reasoning was Lawrence was in a game where we could expect fireworks. Instead, we got the world’s cheapest sparkler, Lawrence threw for 216 yards and no touchdowns. The man had shots at the end zone. But he couldn’t get it done and proved lackluster.
My sleeper, on the other hand, had 151 yards and three TDs. That man is Jordan Love. It was appropriate to put him as a sleeper. At $600 less than Lawrence, he paid off in Week 2.
