After just one week we get a DFS slate where we will await much news. We will have our lineups filled out in pencil for most of the weekend. Travis Kelce and Jerry Jeudy look much more likely to play than this week after missing Week 1. Veterans Austin Ekeler, Brandin Cooks, Aaron Jones, and DeAndre Hopkins are all looking on the wrong side of questionable. Mark Andrews is following the same practice schedule he did last week when he ended up being ruled out on Sunday.
This will make building lineups this weekend a fun puzzle, but we can’t put together the puzzle until we have all the pieces. On slates like these, you do not want to get too excited about a particular build to the point where you won’t adjust it if new information arises.
I am going to break down this week’s slate thinking through different ways to get contrarian using the RotoViz tools. I primarily play in small fields with less than 50 people, but I will also offer some insight into large-field tournament strategy as well.
