With new information after a week of cuts, injuries, and wild ADP developments, Shawn Siegele re-examines all 15 backs from the Zero RB Candidates Countdown. In the ever evolving world of fantasy pricing, three backs fall out, and three new players join the list.
The Update helps me work through the logic behind the RB selections ahead of my most important drafts and hopefully provide some insights to our subscribers for how to play their most important home leagues or FFPC contests with $1 million prizes. The non-trade of Jonathan Taylor caused plenty of fantasy fallout, and we’ll work through the implications for both Indianapolis and Miami, but that’s not all we have to deal with.
THE ZERO RB SERIES
- Part 1 – Running Backs No. 15 to No. 11 – These Guys Are Electric and Almost Free
- Part 2 – Running Backs No. 10 to No. 6 – Big-Time Talent, and Extreme Contingency-Based Upside
- Part 3 – Running Backs No. 5 to No. 1 – The Tournament Winners
I really wanted to write about Keaton Mitchell, the 179-pound mega-athlete who went from undrafted to making the Baltimore Ravens. Unfortunately, he appeared to hurt his shoulder on a 31-yard preseason run and has been stashed on IR. I say stashed, because Mitchell, despite his size, would be good enough to start for the Colts, Chiefs, or Cardinals.
In today’s update, three new players join the list, along with a playoff stash. Three players fall out, but two remain targets if they slip below ADP. Rising players are labeled in green, fallers in red.
