With the draft now less than a week away, Shawn Siegele provides advanced stats for every rookie ranked No. 25 to 36 in his dynasty superflex rankings.
This series has been even more fun than I anticipated, which is exactly what you’re hoping for when you set out (and definitely not always the case). In Part 1 of the Rookie Rankings Series, I debated the value of the controversial quarterback profiles versus the small handful of other elite prospects. In Part 2, I broke down a quartet of top prospects who could easily earn Round 1 grades. They were joined by a deep group of RBs who continue to fill out this draft well into Round 3.
As we wrapped up the previous piece, I teased a remaining trio of prospects who are now frequently mocked in the opening stanza of the reality draft. We start fast with that group today.
Interested in the Round 1 rankings? Ben Gretch and I dive into the prospects on the new episode of Stealing Bananas.
Round 3 – High Upside Prospects Remain at Every Position
In this series, I’m using the first three rounds of a hypothetical rookie draft as a framework for ranking players and dividing them into tiers. I’ll be pulling advanced stats from the immense vault that is the Sports Info Solutions database (the same provider we use for reader-favorite tools like the Advanced Stats Explorer, Stealing Signals, and Advanced Team Stats) and pooling that information with insights from the Box Score Scout and Prospect Workout Explorer.
