Shawn Siegele uses the RotoViz tools to break down the AFC and NFC Championship games.
The wide variety of playoff contests has added another layer of excitement over the last several weeks. Our preferred approach in early Underdog leagues was to load up with 49ers/Bengals rosters, and those teams have both advanced at much more palatable prices than the Chiefs and Eagles. If Tee Higgins hadn’t busted so spectacularly, the advance rate for those squads would have been even better. My personal rosters are now fairly balanced between Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, and Brock Purdy, which isn’t something I expected to be able to accomplish with Philadelphia.
In FFPC contests, we worked through ways to create leverage and upside by playing various scenarios preferred by the tools. The teams I profiled a week ago are still looking good, and the Playoff 2 Contest has gone even better. Ben Gretch and I discussed the roller coaster ride and the AFC Championship game in this week’s Stealing Bananas.
Having enjoyed putting those pieces together, I wanted to jump back in with a look at the Conference Championship matchups through the lens of the RotoViz tools.
