Travis Kelce the TE1 Again: The 2022 Tight End Report and DFS Options for Week 18

RotoViz staff and writers join with the rest of the NFL community in praying for Damar Hamlin. His Chasing M’s Foundation, originally established to fund children’s initiatives like toy drives and kid camps, is one of many examples of Hamlin’s generosity and spirit. The go-fund-me campaign has now raised over $6 million. You can contribute here.

Any writing about football at present takes place in the shadow of the sad events that occurred on Monday Night Football. Fans of all teams, fantasy managers or not, should have Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin firmly in their thoughts at the moment. I cannot, and would not even attempt to put into words how I feel or felt after Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest on the field. If I may, I would highly recommend reading both Kevin Clark’s piece for The Ringer and Denny Carter’s offerings for NBC Sports Edge. Get well soon, Damar.

That Was The Season, That Was

For all intents and purposes, the 2022 fantasy season is over. I hope the information and advice I have passed to you on a weekly basis helped propel you to fantasy dominance this season. It has been fun, as always, delving into the deeds of tight ends. I thank you for reading, and also the players for their efforts. Hats off to each and every one of them.

For your information and knowledge, you will find below all the relevant TE stats for the 2022 season. It should surprise no one that Travis Kelce was once again the right answer all along. It is a nod to the chaotic nature of the position that, the top-12 performers this season include Taysom Hill (not a real TE), Juwan Johnson, and Cole Kmet (both of whom failed to hit 500 receiving yards) and Dallas Goedert (only played in 11 games). Still, if navigating the position was easy, it wouldn’t be fun, would it?

I Thought We Were Done?

Most people will not be playing season-long fantasy football in Week 18. If you are, then I cast a raised eyebrow in your direction. But as I still have some writing left in me this season, I shall, instead of offering streaming options at the TE position, giving my thoughts on three players you might consider plugging into your DFS lineups for Week 18.
