Five main Zero RB storylines emerged in the past week:
- Rhamondre Stevenson goes down early for the Patriots, and both Kevin Harris and Pierre Strong impress in his absence.
- Chuba Hubbard posts his second consecutive 17-opportunity game sandwiched around a bye and set a new season-high with 18.9 points.
- James Cook fails to build on his excellent Week 13, falling back from 20 opportunities to only five.
- J.K. Dobbins impresses in his return, demonstrating a lack of long speed but showing the lateral agility that’s made him a star-in-waiting. He averages more than 5.0 yards before contact and gains over 100 yards with a score.
- Michael Carter returns to lead in snaps against the Bills (37-35), but Zonovan Knight again dominates the opportunities (19-11) and has a strong fantasy day.
We’ll dive into some of these backfields a little more, discuss the unfortunate injury to Dameon Pierce, and examine the order in which you’ll have to make some tough RB decisions in Week 15.
