Game Level Similarity Projections: What Are They And How Should I Use Them?
As a reminder, GLSP considers a player in isolation and does not consider external factors such as the availability of the other players on his team, his personal health, or any other factors that would not be present in historical data.
As these projections are built using historical data, they can not be created for rookies heading into Week 1.
QB Streaming Options
Jameis Winston @ATL – AVG GLSP 20.5
Jameis Winston has the sixth-highest QB GLSP of the week. He’s expected to score 20.5 points in an average outing with a floor of 14.3 points and a ceiling of 26.2 points. If Winston and the Saints’ offense show up to Atlanta ready to play, he could be in for a huge day. Twenty-eight percent of his matches bested 25 points when facing defenses similar to the Falcons. In seven games in 2021, he averaged 18.7 points per game (PPG) and managed two QB1 performances in seven games played. In both of these contests, Winston eclipsed the 30 point mark. This is a feat that he’s no stranger to. In fact, since 2019, Winston has scored 30-plus points in 33% of games.
In 2021, Atlanta represented a favorable matchup for opposing passers. This is reflected in the Week 1 Strength of Schedule Streaming App ratings, which grade the Falcons as the fourth most favorable matchup for QBs to open the season.
