Where do Breece Hall, Javonte Williams, and Najee Harris land in Shawn Siegele’s updated dynasty rankings?
It’s been a rough start to the season for the RB position. I’ll dive into the redraft implications in tomorrow’s Zero RB Playbook, but that damage carries over into dynasty where we find only one RB in each of the first two tiers. It’s a stark contrast with the wide receiver position. Ten WRs land in the first two tiers and demand the elite trade value that’s represented by our tier system.
If you’ve been following the Dynasty Workshop through the offseason, you’ve likely experienced a significant shift in trade value your direction as our extreme focus young WRs has benefitted from multiple early-season trends. Today it’s time to jump into the RB position and discuss options for balancing short-term scoring and long-term upside to keep that Permanent Championship Window open.
The Guts to Benefit from Uncertainty and the Patience to Build a Monster
I’m going to be discussing workload from an Expected Points (EP) and Fantasy Points Over Expectation (FPOE) perspective. Understanding how workloads translate into points is the key to making good decisions at the RB position. These numbers can be found in tools like the Weekly Stat Explorer and the RotoViz Screener. I’m also going to be referencing advanced RB stats and key metrics found in the Advanced Stats Explorer and Stealing Signals tool.
